　　Q.1From Ms Ma: There is such a rumor here in China about IELTS that there would be some changes in IELTS test in May, I am wondering whether that is true?
 

　　A.1 From James: Since it is a rumor, how can it be true.(laugh) If there is any change in IELTS test, it would be published at least 18 months in advance. So far I haven’t heard about any changes, at least not in this year.

　　Q.2. From Ms Ma:what is the biggest difference between IELTS trainers in China and IELTS trainers in foreign countries?
 

　　A.2 From Alison: Trainers in the foreign countries are more into helping IELTS learners with the general English ability, and learners there are like, more talkative, more opinionated. Whereas,trainers here , I realize, pay more attention to help students pass the IELTS strategies.
 

　　Q.3 From Ms Ma:Is the IELTS marking criteria operated the same in different countries?
 

　　A.3 From James: Yes. Strictly marked and fair.

　　Q.4 From Ms Ma: In IELTS speaking test part 2, if the candidate comes across the unfamiliar word can he or she ask the examiner to explain it?
 

　　A. From Ms Ivene: I can’t answer for you. But most of examiners would not explain.
 

　　Q.5 From Mr XU: When the examiner finds out the candidate’s writing is just a copy from IELTS writing book, what would happen?
 

　　A.5.From Ms Ivene: The candidate will get a very low score, about 5.
 

　　Q.6 From Ms Ma :What do you think are the weaknesses for Chinese IELTS candidates in speaking part?
 

　　A. 6. From Ms Ivene: Candidates tend to be really nervious at the beginning of the test, and some of them are talking too much without any pause and intonation. Plus quite a few Chinglish are frequently being used, which might arouse unneccessory misunderstanding.
